Hemp is a natural fiber valued for its durability, strength, and moisture absorption. Rather than offering hemp as a single-fiber fabric, KINGSOO combines hemp with cotton or organic cotton to create different fleece and terry fabric options.

The current range includes two hemp and organic cotton fleece blends and one hemp cotton terry fabric. These differences in hemp content, cotton type, and fabric construction give buyers several ways to specify hemp fabric for different product requirements.

Hemp and cotton bring different characteristics to a blended fabric.

Hemp contributes strength, durability, and absorbency, while cotton adds a softer hand feel. Combining the two allows the fabric to retain the characteristics of hemp while offering a more balanced textile structure for finished products.

KINGSOO currently uses both regular cotton and organic cotton in its hemp fabric range. This creates two distinct blend directions:

• Hemp + Organic Cotton: Available in fleece constructions with different hemp-to-cotton ratios
• Hemp + Cotton: Available in a terry construction

The blend ratio also varies. KINGSOO offers fleece with either 40% or 55% hemp, allowing buyers to choose between two different hemp contents without changing the basic hemp-and-organic-cotton material combination.

KINGSOO currently offers three hemp fabric blends.

The range can be divided into two groups: hemp organic cotton fleece and hemp cotton terry.

Hemp Organic Cotton Fleece

Two compositions are available in the same fleece construction:

40% Hemp / 60% Organic Cotton Fleece combines a lower hemp percentage with a higher organic cotton percentage.

55% Hemp / 45% Organic Cotton Fleece increases the hemp content while retaining organic cotton as the second fiber.

Because both use fleece construction, the main confirmed difference between these two options is their fiber ratio. Buyers who have a specific hemp-content requirement can therefore compare the two compositions directly.

Hemp Cotton Terry

KINGSOO's third option is 40% Hemp / 60% Cotton Terry.

Unlike the two fleece fabrics, this option uses regular cotton rather than organic cotton and is produced in a terry construction. It therefore differs in both the cotton component and the fabric structure.

Hemp fiber has several characteristics that make it distinct from many conventional textile fibers. In addition to its natural origin, it is valued for moisture absorption, strength, durability, and fabric comfort.

Moisture Absorption and Heat Dissipation

Hemp fabric has good moisture-absorption and heat-dissipation characteristics, helping create a cooler and more comfortable fabric feel.

Strength and Wear Resistance

Hemp fiber offers good strength and wear resistance. Its wet strength is also an important characteristic, helping the material maintain durability when exposed to moisture.

Comfortable Fabric Surface

Compared with traditional coarse linen fabrics, properly processed hemp fabrics can provide a smoother surface with less of the rough or scratchy feel sometimes associated with linen materials.

Low Static and Easy Care

Hemp fabric is less prone to static electricity and dust attraction, which can make the material easier to care for during everyday use.

Naturally Hygienic Characteristics

Hemp fiber is also valued for its naturally antibacterial characteristics, adding another functional property to the material.
